Daniel was talking to Owen in Micheals hospital room when he got the text from a detective he once gave a case to. The man was asking if he wanted to take up the cas of the disappearance of the One thousand Vultures. Apparently, it had spread to other police department in different areas that he was on Owen Duurms tail. Although no one really knew why it was so.
Of course he accepted it, it was an opportunity he wouldn't pass. His superior would be furious that he was working on a case from another police department area but he knew to calm the man down with approval from the higher ups.
When they got to the police department area who were handling Owens' case, he was shown to their detective room.
