Micheal stares at Ophelia for some seconds before smiling and waving Daniel goodbye. They both know that his backer can never be as strong as Daniels backer. Only God knows who backs the man up that gives him such peace of mind, courage and assurance.
Once the door closed, Daniel dug his hands into his hair frustrated by his cousins. What was he supposed to do when the man was walking into death?

Danile shakes his head. "We need one person perfectly alive and not in the hospital in order to continue with our plan." He couldn't risk being pushed by the gods to put everything in pause. What if they were planning to get rid of him so they can get off Owens back? The man asking him to collaborate still confused him more than anything. Although, he had no choice but to simply give in. Owen himself must have calculated the move well. He knew it was an offer he would not dare to decline even if he knows he was walking right into a trap.
