He proceeded to explain how the Duurm familys mechanic company had insisted that there was nothing wrong with Owens car. They had infact given him the cars updates. Apparently, they check the cars in groups in beginning of every month but they send at least one professional mechanic every week to check each person cars.
The man who had checked Owens car, had claimed do have done his job just two days ago meaning it was a day nefore Owen stopped in the middle of the road to talk to the now dead man. He insisted there was no way anything could have been wrong with the car.
"When I asked if they kept tracks of cars...at first the man didn't want to to repson." But he has an ace card on his sleeve. He had someone none of the founders would want to annoy and so the man had no choice but to tell him. "But he claims they install a device in each persons car to notify them incase someone messes with the brake of cars or tries to do something to it."
