"Ares the pups are-" A familiar voice spoke, waking me up completely only to realise how awkward this was about to be. Not only did I have a little manic episode, but I am laying on top of Ares as he spoke to Greyson.
"Let me go." I commented, trying to get off of him.
"And if I don't?" He asked, holding me closer to him.
"Then say bye bye to your dick." As I replied that I wriggled my leg out from under his.
"Okay, okay. You can go." He sighed in defeat, removing his arms from around me.
"Anyways, I'm gonna go make a mini bed in some random closet I find. Cya." I said, pulling my hoodie down from where it had originally rose up. I glared at Greyson for a few seconds before I actually started moving. Mornings aren't my thing.
As I skipped down the hallway I found three massive closets. I chose the smallest of them as I find smaller spaces easier to defend. I found some wood and used that as a door, some cardboard boxes where used as walls and a few blankets and cushions where inside it. I then climbed in and went back to sleep for around what felt like two seconds, until several people rushed into the closet with a panicked expression, calling for me.
"What do you want?" I asked, hoping the past events didn't rewind.
"Ares is worried as to where you are." They all said, taking my boxes down however I raised my eyebow.
"If Ares needs me then he can mind-link. I am going back to sleep in two seconds, if you do not leave I will tear your throats out." I snarled, for this was the second time I had been woken up when I wasn't needed.
Little Archer, return to our room. Ares said through the mind-link. I groaned in frustration.
I don't know where I am. I'm not going with those three dumbasses who tried to ruin my fort. I growled at them, glaring at the one of which was still holding the box.
Athena if you do not return within a minute I'll send Greyson to get you. Trust me I will be giving him permission to just pick you up. He replied, obviously irritated.
You do that and he'll be missing a hand. I had a smug look on my face, until Ares walked in and the others left.
"Heyy, Ares." I waved at him, nervousness took over my senses. He held out his hand, helping me up but also generally wanting to hold mine.
"What's this about?" I asked as we walked down the hall.
"Therapy." Is all he said in reply until he practically pushed me into our room.
"Fuck, you absolute asshole of a dog!" I shouted, punching the door once before turning around to see a rather short girl standing in the corner. "Hello."
"Just sit, or stand, anywhere and I'll start asking you questions." She began, yet I stood in place.
"I know how this goes. If you want an answer, well, you're not gonna get one. The more you ask, the more likely I'll snap your neck." I said, a blank expression on my face.
"Yes, I was told that might be your answer. I am Ares' sister, Hera." She stated, sitting down on a wooden chair. I simply glared at her, as I do to most of the population. Before she started talking I turned back to the door and tried the handle, however it was locked.
I balled my fist and punched it twice, before sticking my hand through the gap and unlocking it from the outside with the key that was stupidly left in the door.
"Well, nice to meet you but I have things to do. For example, sleep." I then walked out, carefully stepping over the splintered wood that covered the floor.
My anger was close to tipping and allowing itself to explode as if a volcano.
Before I even managed a few steps away from where that manky ass Hera sat, someone from outside the door grabbed my shoulder. I immediately kicked them right in the groin.
"Well that's gotta hurt. 10 points for aim I guess." I heard another speak up, I stared at him as red flashes appeared in my eyes.
"You're my new favourite person." I commented, before walking off. "Oh and tell that Hera girl to go fuck herself." I shouted once past the corner.
As I finally started to turn my head back I walked directly into someone, however as he barely moved I had to step back a bit to steady myself.
"That's not very nice." An all too-familiar voice piped up, and once I locked my eyes on his face I only knew this was going to end badly for me.
"You're not very nice." I grumbled back, trying to step around Ares however he just moved to block my path.
"You know, if you wouldn't mind, I'd push you into that wall and show everyone here what a good girl you can be for me." He replied, his fingers lifting my chin up ever so slightly. A smirk was stuck on his face as I immediately went quiet, once the very few seconds where up he removed his hand and stood in silence infront of me.
