Chapter 6 - Can It Be

A small grin lit Lynn's lip. She placed her hands on his chest. She felt her lips it was a lingering feeling. "Relax Fenris and Lysander are nothing to be worried about." She winked at him and stepped back. They were almost done unpacking her room. The boxes broken down and thrown out. She was placing a few things when he came back in from throwing things out. She smiled as she looked at him.

"Thank you for helping me out. It was really nice of you to do so." She said. She watched Michael, they had been talking the entire time on things she done and missed and the same with him. They hadn't stopped. He went to leave to let her sleep. Lynn watched him. "Wait." She said and went to put her hand on the door closing it. She stepped in his path. "Stay with me please. I don't want to sleep alone." She said. Lyn had remembered the dream and it scared her to be alone. She was afraid to sleep, she didn't want that dream coming back. Her eyes were begging him to stay. She hoped it was just her saying please. However she knew he must of seen her eyes the need for him to stay. She was frightened and yet she could not bring herself to tell him or anyone else. When he agreed she sighed out. She locked her door and went to the bed after closing her black out curtains. She pulled off her short and pants and got under her comforter curling into Michael.

Lynn thanked him for staying as she got comfy and lay on his chest as she slowly fell into a sleep. Her body relaxed at his arm around her and the fear that the nightmare would come back thankfully went away.

Angel shoulder bumped him playfully. "Well thats good that something brought you back." She winked at him. She set the box down in his room. " Don't worry Jade and Erin are over the moon there pups are back. Packs strongest warriors are back and ready for there life." She said. "Look I missed you a lot. It was kinda boring with out you these last 4 years. Don't worry about the packs thoughts your one of us no matter what. Trust me your mother murder anyone who says other wise. She love you very much and missed you, especially you." Angel said as she started to help him un pack.

Angel looked up. "Who Lexi? Did you forget already silly man. Lexi she is just my aunt. My mother is Alyssa and who knows she so cryptic like Jax my father. Both annoyingly broody. However they must not seem super upset about my time spent with you, though who knows, she doesn't really seem to want me around you. Not that they could stop me." She teased lightly as she helped him. "Like I said with out you awful and boring. I really hated it. Been so dull same old same old crap. No one dark enough to get me or want to be around me." She said as she looked at a book and ran her hands over it.

She found the one she given him before he left. It had photos of the pack and them mostly him and her always doing something fun and not exactly pack legal. When his room was mostly done, she got up leaving him with a few things. "Well welcome home Fenris I am insanely glad your back. I should go let you sleep. Got that big shindig later tonight. Trust me Supernaturals from all over will be here don't want to miss the fireworks cause you need sleep." She said.

Angel went to leave when he placed a hand on her wrist to stop her from leaving. She wanted to ask what it was if he was okay. However she didn't she just freed her wrist and wrapped her arms around him. Her lips kissed his cheek. As she pulled away his lips seemed to find hers. She smiled and kissed him back. Her lips lightly on his. "I guess a nap be nice." She said when they finally parted. Her breath heavy from the lip lock. He was perfect and amazing she di see his heritage she saw and amazing male Lycan that was someone she wanted to be with for ever. He was it. He was who she wanted and had always wanted.

When her mate stepped in her path Jade was thankful. She needed a moment as she wracked her brain. She was crouched hand on the wall. Her eyes stared she was looking for some information that was there. It was actually a conversation her and Ulric had one day when she been with him. She been wondering out loud what type of creature could have a scent one place and then another, but no trail. She been going over some books in a ancient library he had. A smell on the way to the library had triggered the memory. She looked at Ulric as he stood behind her. " Demons my dear." He said. She snorted. "Please I thought Vampires were the Demons." She said. He seemed to laugh at her naive thought. "No Demons are real. They shadow hop, which is like summoning a portal and then appearing else where." He told her. "That can't be a thing. Though crazier things have happened." She said.

Jades mind stopped going a mile a minute. "Demon, shadow travel." She muttered to herself. "No doesn't explain bite. It was like a vampire and Lycan cross. However that wasn't all." She spoke to herself. Something else was missing two other things crossed. She was pissed that she couldn't put her finger on it all she knew whatever it was, was not good.

Shane watched the Alphas and was ready to step in. He stayed at Jades side, he had heard her mutter something, but tried not to say anything. He was stuck between comforting his Luna and stepping between Alphas. Jade had always been there for him and Val. Not much was missed between them when she had returned many years ago.

Shane stood his shoulders squared up when he felt like Darius wasn't really backing down. When Erin said at the Ceremony he glowered a bit, however said nothing. Jade was thankfully back up and standing, she had composed her look especially as a sheriff walked over. "Well?" He asked them. Jade looked to him. "We will figure it out. We have no clue what yet." She told the male. "Fine let me know when you do figure it out." He said. Jade nods with a dark look. They nod to Darius and walk back for the truck. Jade scanned every where eyes falling to a male. When they locked eyes it sent a shiver down her spine. She tried to grab the others attention to look by the time they did he had vanished. They didn't really seem to believe her and said she just needed sleep.

Jade knew exactly what she saw and was glad her children were home. She got in the truck and sat silently leaning into her mate. It was comforting to have him next to her. Especially smelling a descendant of her uncle.
