Cain noticed that Group 2, the team that had retreated when Lady Azure's forces arrived, was no longer present.
"They must have returned to the sect," Cain mused silently. "It seems their duty ended as soon as we arrived."
Their absence didn't bother Cain much. That group seemed to belong to Core Elder Lucius's faction, and right now, they were not his target. What truly drew his attention were the fifteen individuals standing opposite Lady Azure's group. More precisely, he focused on two Deus Behemoths, their towering forms exuding raw power, and one Anima Machinarium, whose presence seemed to command the battlefield.
'Alonz, Goldker, and Zafira,' Cain thought to himself, his gaze locking onto the trio.
