Cain's eyes were sharp, twin golden lights flickering in them as he took one last look at the man beneath him. Then, with a seemingly casual motion, he released his grip on Arian's skull, no longer intending to crush it completely.
A faint smile crept across Arian's face when he felt Cain finally let go, but far from gratitude, a cold malice gleamed in his eyes. Though he was clever enough not to act on his hatred now, he was plotting his revenge for the future.
Unfortunately for Arian, that future would never arrive. Cain pivoted in a single fluid movement, striking with a blow so swift and violent that it shattered every bone in Arian's chest. A scorching surge of Star Power coursed from Cain's fist into the man's Rebirth Heart, inflicting brutal damage to the Sacred Organ.
"Uuurrgh!" Arian let out a raw cry, coughing up a mouthful of blood laced with fragments of his internal organs and bone before slipping into unconsciousness.
