Cain's eyes were cold as Orland's body returned to its normal form. He glanced ahead, a meaningful light crossing his eyes as he saw the illusion of himself vanishing the next second. Orland's speed had been truly overwhelming, and it would have been hard to catch up to the man had he not stopped. That was why Cain used his threads of spatial influence to project an illusion in the path of the Behemoth. After that, he silently reached from behind and generated a soul strike that left Orland in a comatose state.
It would have been easy for Cain to kill the man outright, but he planned to consume his mind and soul before that, so he simply sent him into his Inner World.
