The massive wolf unleashed a roar that echoed like thunder, a sonic wave so intense it seemed to solidify space around Cain, slowing his movements and threatening to trap him in mid-air. Seeing an opportunity, Orland lunged forward, his massive jaws opened wide, aiming to swallow the young man whole.
Cain's eyes grew cold as he felt his movements restricted, but there was neither fear nor hesitation on his face. He adopted a battle stance as the titanic maw descended. At the last moment, golden light coursed through his eyes. The flaming halberd in his hand struck straight into the Behemoth's fangs, altering Orland's course and sending the colossal creature diving into the flaming ground below.
