It was not hard for Cain to find his residence, as the gem containing the rules and codes of the Gu Sect provided enough information to guide him. While the sect did not simply hand out maps of the city, they also would not leave a newly arrived Outer Elder to wander aimlessly, asking for his own home.
The residence of an Outer Elder was substantial, boasting all sorts of wonders and even servants. Most of these people were Apotheosis Masters or Wave Kings, cultivators of low rank compared to the mighty powers of the Gu Sect's inner circle. Menial tasks would normally be beneath them, but they were more than happy to serve here in the inner ring. After all, the waves of energy that permeated this place were purer and denser than any treasure they could buy.
