The Scarlet King was oblivious to what was happening outside of the Babel Tower; right now, all his focus was on his family. Within the serene confines of the tower's highest chamber, Cain sat surrounded by those he held dearest.
Cain regaled his sons, Rylanor and Magnus, with tales of his travels across the Crimson World. Of course, for the sake of storytelling, he made things exciting and saved some gory moments. Each word painted vivid images in the minds of his eager listeners. The boys' eyes glowed with awe and wonder as their father recounted the majestic phenomena he had witnessed.
"I became a massive gargantuan dragon," Cain began, his gaze distant as if recalling the feeling of the wind beneath his wings. "My scales shimmered like obsidian mirrors reflecting the cosmos, and with each beat, I soared higher than the tallest mountains. The sky was my domain, and the clouds parted before me."
