Every time he blasted one apart, the shards would regather after a few seconds, swirling back into their menacing forms. However, the black energy they left inside his body remained, and he felt it coursing through his veins.
Despite his higher domain and understanding over the Oniric Truhf of Hatred and his best efforts to expel it, the Hateful Essence clung stubbornly to him, and trying to purge it was nearly impossible—especially as more and more Tornadoes of Hatred bombarded him, continuously increasing the amount of Hateful Essence flooding his body and mind.
