Just as Cain saved the Ancient Dragon, the Mirage Serpent erupted from the floor beneath him. The scarlet dragon was too close to dodge; the creature's massive form loomed over him, and with a swift motion, it unleashed a devastating point-blank attack. The sound of bones shattering echoed through the air.
"Ugh!" Cain grunted as the force of the blow sent shockwaves through his body, propelling him and the serpent upward at overwhelming speed and momentum.
