Cain frowned as he saw those disgusting maws full of razor-sharp teeth. Though his body was immobilized, his energy was not locked. He was ready to unleash a surge of lightning and fire from within, intending to blast all the White Humanoids that dared to approach him. Even if they could not harm him, there was no way he would allow them to try to eat him.
However, before the scarlet dragon energy would explode, all ten thousand kneeled and bowed to him, their foreheads touching the ground.
Confusion arose in Cain's mind as he observed their unexpected submission. The eerie chant subsided, replaced by a profound silence. A few short seconds later, he felt a channel open between himself and the ten thousand White Humanoids. Energies intertwined, and an understanding blossomed within him to the point that he felt his mind connected to theirs.
