I let out a groan " We're going to be late" I mutter putting my head on the table. Feeling fingers make there way through my messy hair I lean into them. A thing Mari often does when I have hangovers. " I think when we said no more clubbing we should've included partying as well" I utter from my position. " You know we'
can never give up partying Kai" Mp says while chuckling. Mari makes a noise of agreement. Rubbing the side of my head feeling the incoming headache I start tapping my finger on the table quietly. We sit in comfortable silence until our number is called. Getting our coffee we make our way ack to the car. Sitting in the back I lean against the door sipping my coffee. " In- routing to the pits of hell" Mp says driving out of the parking lot. I snicker from my spot. Mari turns on some music.

Bopping my head to the song starting to feel less hungover. " Broke a thousand hearts, before I meet you, I'll break a thousand more baby, before I am through" We sang along with the song, and thats how the rest of the car ride with us singing alonging the guitar filled songs. By time we get to our 4th periods we all split up. Mari in AP chemistry, MP in history and me in AP environmental science drawing out the annoying voice of my teacher. " Mr. Pharoh care to tell me which of the following is the non anthropogenic source of carbon dioxide emission into the air" Mr. Kimer asked. I sigh not raising my head I answer " Cellular Respiration." I don't even have to look up to see the look of surprise on Mr. Kimer's face, hearing the shushed snickers throughout the classroom. " Well since your so caught up would you like the tell the class the primary cause of the Earth's seasonal change?" He states.
I raise my head with a bored expression. " The Constant tilt of the earth's rotational axis and its orbit around the sun, pleace Mr.Kimer next time you want to have a ego test use harder questions" I say as the bell rings. I stand up swinging my bag over my shoulder. Leaving the room I make my way to the outside tables. Meeting up with Mari and Mp. I sit down groaning. " I'm so sick of hearing you two groaning an moaning" Mari says.
I make a noise of agreement putting my head down next to her hand sending her a pleading look, she sighs caving in and her fingers make there way into my messy hair. I lean into them taking advantage of the free period to take a nap. Mari and Mp's voice starts to fade as I fall into slumber. My mind running free. Then all of a sudden flashes and images start popping up. My eyebrows crease in confusion. Images of blood, war, and pain start filling my head. I shoot up sweat dripping down my face.
Mari looks at me in worry. " You okay dude" I think we lost you for a second." Mp says looking concerned. I look around making sure I was out of whatever the hell that was. Nodding my head " Ye- yeah I'm fine just a nightmare I think" I say confused on what just happen. The bell rings snapping me out of my thoughts I jump at the sound. " Maybe we should just skip the rest of the day and go to my house" Mari says. " Yeah" I mutter. We get up and walk back to the car.

By time we get to Mari's house I flop onto the bed and the momment my head hits the pillow I was asleep but not before hearing the laughter of them. As soon as I hit the bed I'm back up. I look around taking note of the dark and gothic interior. I cautiously get of the bed. " Where the hell am I" I question myself. " The Realm of Kings" A dark voice says from behind me. I jump turning around as fast as I could. I see a man maybe late 40's sitting a chair I didn't see before. " Who the hell are you and what is the ' Realm of Kings' " I say confused. " My dear boy, I can not say much but I can tell you to be prepared for whats coming. A great storm is heading your way and I fear not even I can stop it, so its up to you. " The man says background fading into black. "
Find Rylan Wright and whatever you do stay away from Ale-" The voice completely fades as I'm thrown back into consciousness. Waking up I quickly look around for any weird looking men. " What the hell is going on with me" I utter to myself. I look at the mirror sitting on Mari's desk to see my eyes white. I jump back at the image but just as I do it's gone. I get up moving quickly to the mirror. Seeing 2 streaks of white in my hair. I reach up touching them. " Kairoo" I hear a whisper, turning around faster then I thought possible there was nothing. " Kairoo" I hear again, I slowly follow the whisper. I know idiotic move, rule number 1 never follow the whisper but im a curious dude okay. I follow them into the kitchen where they just stop.
" Kairo" I voice screams to loud a drop to my knees covering my ears as the voice starts to scream. I let out a loud groan. I hold onto my ears as hard as I can. I feel a warm liquid start to drip down my ears as the screaming stops. Bringing my hand down I see my hands covered in blood. I look to the right at a mirror. The image sending chills up my spine. Blood covering my mouth, fangs poking from my mouth and the white eyes from earlier. I move closer to the mirror and the screaming starts again. I move my hands quickly to my ears. " STOP" I scream out to anyone willing to listen I feel myself start to lose consciousness. My eyes shot up and I hear a thud. Looking down I see a person, blood on their neck and on my hands.
I hear a scream come from behind me. I turn around to see Mari looking at me and something else. I follow her train of sight down to see Mp with his face in the persons neck. Shooting his face up you can see a streak of blood flowing down his chin. My hands start to tremble. " No no no no, this can't be real, Ma- Mari please tell me this isn't real " I cry my voice trembling, I drop to my knees trying to wrap my head around what's happening. " W- what the hell did you do" Mari utters. Mp just looks down in shock. I look around we're in a bar full of dead people blood everywhere, a horrific sight. Bottles of alcohol broken and shattered. I look down and I'm covered in blood.
A groan fills our ears. I look at the person who made the noise. A women on the floor still alive. Unknowing to me my eyes glow brighter and black and redish veins make there way up my face and before I can stop it I go over to her with speed I didn't know I had and sink my mouth In her neck. Groaning at the warm blood filling my mouth. I squreal pierces the air as my head whips up to see Mari looking at me in horror. " It's real" A voice speaks, and all of our heads whip the a man with 2 girls behind him. Ignoring him I look down at what I just did. She's dead, I killed her. As the thoght finally processes I scramble back away from her in fear. " no no no no" I speak in fear. " Look I know this can be very confusing and scary, but we're here to help you. Im Professor Yern, these two are Kamari and Jasmine." the man softly speaks but he's the last thing on my mind as I stare down at my hands.
I can hear Mp silently crying. I can hear muffled speaking in the background. I hear the screams of the women coming back. I scream covering my ears. Falling back I curl in a ball. " Make it stop, please make it stop" I scream out. " Jasmine!" I hear the professor says before unknown words fill my ears, the screaming stops and I'm unconscious.
3rd POV-
Kairo's body stops spasming and he goes quiet, eyes closing. " What did you do to him." Amari says running over to him. " Kai" Amari says repeatedly. " He's fine just asleep. " Kamari says rolling her eyes. Yern nudges her with a look she very much knows, sighing. " Look I could explain everything here where someone could find us or we could go back to your house" Professor Yern says. Amari and Mp look at eachother hesitantly, subtly nodded Mp walks up to pick up Kairo. Following the strangers back to Amari's house.
