Katherine was getting ready for the college.She was he late and was thinking to skip breakfast .
"Where do you think you are going lady."It was her aunt Elizabeth."You are skipping breakfast again.Come sit here and grab something to eat."
"No Aunt Liz...I am already getting late...if i stay for breakfast i wil be late for the college. " Katherine replied . "Kath ...,"her aunt glared.
"oh ..come in aunt"Katherine groaned and grabbed two slices of bread and she started applying butter with a fork."I think this should be enough for now."Katherine squeaked.
Elizabeth grabbed Katherine's hand and pulled slightly. Because of sudden movement the fork slided on Katherine fingers instead of bread."Ouch.....you really have sharp cutlery aunt..." Katherine groaned as she saw a drop of blood on her finger tip."I am so sorry Kath.....I didn't meant that...I just wanted you to have a proper breakfast."Elizabeth panicking.
"It's ok. Not a big deal." Katherine replied and placed her injured finger hands on her aunt's shoulder. Her aunt saw a peck of blood on her fingers.She was breathing heavily." I think...I think you should leave ...."Elizabeth stammered.
"Are you ok aunt?" Katherine asked ."Yeah ...I am fine... You should leave now.. or you will be late..."stammered and smiled nervously.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah sweety....just hurry up."
"I can skip college today if you want me to."
"No need Kath....just hurry up."
Elizabeth pushed Katherine slightly near the door and took out a first aid box from the nearby table drawer,took out a band aid and gave it to Katherine.
"Now hurry up or you will be late on the first day of your college "
"Fine."Katherine kissed her aunt's cheek and waved her hand.
Elizabeth closed the door as soon as Katherine was out of her sight.She took a deep breath as she was relieved.
