Getting them to split up was my objective all along, and to that end, my fake exploding raptor ruse worked to perfection.
"Haha! Fools! Now let the show begin!!" I shouted with glee and shot out towards the nearest demon mecha with a supremely unfriendly intent.
That demon mecha saw me coming for him, and instead of dodging and repositioning for a counter attack, he stomped down both feet firmly on the ground and hunkered down to brace for impact.
"You think you are strong enough to take a frontal attack from me? Ha!" My eyes gleamed excitedly as I threw my Terraraptor at him, fully expecting to throw him to the ground where I would be free to rip him apart and wheel away before his buddies could surround me.
But alas….
BAAAANGGGGG!!!!
I crashed into him like a freight train at full speed… crashing into another freight train!!
And he managed to stand his ground!!
