"Yes, it was me." Arabella lost her hesitance and snapped at Maziz Kazire in irritation. "I did not have a choice, alright? It was either me or The Dreadhorde Magius."
"Th-the Dreadhorde Magius? He almost got the Eternal Tree?!?" Maziz Kazire sputtered in shock.
"Yes. I was secretly hunting him down to devour him and his unique power. But after several long years of deep cover and investigating all of his known and secret associates, I finally found him skulking about the Eternal World. He had just broken past all of its unbreakable barriers, and was about to lay his hands on the Eternal Tree! I got in there in time, devoured the damn tree before he did, and then devoured him too." Arabella explained.
"Ha! So you devoured the uniquely powerful Tree that was holding back the demon horde of the nine hells for the sake of the whole universe?" Maziz Kazire gave her a fearsome draconic sneer. "You could have devoured him instead of the tree, and that would have been the end of it!"
