As energy sources go, the donut shaped one was actually nothing much. It was even dormant because it was damaged.
"It had lost the bulk of its power, probably when the center portion was taken out. But the hole is perfectly formed… The center portion must be something which could be removed and attached at will. So this energy source is actually a two part source! Interesting!" I was very excited to learn of yet another thing about energy sources.
There are probably a billion small things like this which life forms living in the main universe take for granted as being common knowledge, but which are all completely mind blowing to me.
Things like the two part energy sources. Things like what the center part could be which made it so valuable that the ring surrounding it could be discarded as though it was trash, trash which glimmered as something even more valuable than a diamond in its shape and size.
