*Back in the tunnel*
Suddenly, It started getting cold.
A piercing sound came from the dark, sending poor Ashley's heart to leap.
"What was that?" She asked in a weak voice. Her body was shivering.
"Don't stop. Keep moving." Despite answering her question Darius who was walking ahead of her instructed her in a thick voice.
His eyes were sharp and active, taking in his surroundings as his feet increased their speed.
Ashley's short leg did a great job keeping up.
Something was not right, that's for sure, Ashley could feel it deep in her gut and that sinking feeling didn't go away.
When Ashley thought it wouldn't be possible for Darius to go any faster she proved wrong his long legs moving like a machine Ashley had to walk-run to keep up with his speed. Her breaths get heavier, matching the increased tempo of her heart.
