Olive's POV
I was getting ready for the new life starting today, ruling the pack and all. A Italian woman came with some food. She is in her mid 40s or something , Wearing a red blouse with a skinny black pants and wearing high end nail polish and a pink red lip gloss. She said sweetly " (My dear, this food will help you giving strength while restoring the warmth that you lost due to the cold). "
Due to being multilingual it's not a big problem what she said and not only that her tone is so soft that I can't refused. So, I nodded and with that she petted my head and went away.
After eating the food, I dressed up in deep blue round neck t shirt and black pants and just combed my hair. I was ready for both to rule and to play. While walking downstairs I saw Phila talking to a girl around the age of 19 or 20 with the Italian woman I saw in the morning. Phila saw me and called me to come near her. She introduced them " This, is Daynia, she is studying for fashion designing course in Loren fashion college, the one you studied in. She was asking for internship suggestions, so I said her about your company. Will you take her as an intern?"
I replied " Well I have no problem with that." To which Phila replied" Good" and she continued " Oh, I forgot to tell she is Cayla. The owner of M.K. flim industry, she specifically came to visit you. The next Alpha of the pack and she liked you in one go. You're passed in her test."
" What test??"I asked. Phila said " O, my child Cayla belongs to family who checks if the alpha is eligible to rule and stand with the pack. Every pack has different tactics and thinking and so, is there Alpha. You passed her test"
I replied " ( Thanks to Cayla, for trusting and believing that I can handle and rule this pack. I really appreciate it)"
Cayla smiled and said " (It's nothing. It's my duty and to what I have seen you are more than capable to rule this pack. And my dear remember you can ask Aunt Cayla for help any time you want bye for today and please take care of my daughter Daynia.)" After saying that she exited from the door.
Phila went with Daynia to show her room. In the evening, my first meeting hold. My dad said he would give my beta. While continuing the meeting, I started to get how this works. After, discussing, It's like discussing business while with some other rules like maintaining harmony with other packs and species, how to train new addition in pack, emotional stands for kids and teens and how to get ready for attacks.
After all this my dad introduced my Betas. He said" My son, Betas are like your personal assistant in werewolf community. They're always loyal to their alphas and never betray them. " With that being said my dad welcome my Betas. As, they entered.I was stunned. My mates huh. I don't think so they are. But it's always tit for tat.Today I won't snapped out at anyone or yell at them. I would just act sweet as they act in front of my family. I'm sure both of them have ulterior motives. Beta my foot, but I won't let them succeed. I am Alpha, this is my pack, my kingdom. They can't do anything without my will. I will make sure of that they shouldn't have mess with me.

It's been few days, since my first day for Alpha duty. I am managing everything fine. Everyone is happy with me but some people who don't know the icy event thinks that I am unique. But the most weird thing is Phila thinks the same although she knows everything. I can't understand why. I'm going to human world today and I also wore contact lenses of my previous eye color to make it look more normal. I gave jobs in my company to some of my pack members whom I think worthy of. They are doing pretty well and adjusting situations too. Ah, I am happy but now I have to deal with those two.
Talking of those two, they're changing their behavior. They are putting on lovey dovey show. So I am. I'm sure to these all are just acting and one day or other they will tell me, but before that they would suffer deep remorse and pain. I swear to God. I still remember what Aiden did years ago and know that I know that Jax knew this all along. I'm pretty sure he knew that too.
Ah, they give me headache just by thinking about them. I guess I would make them wait in the restaurant and text them pretty late that I am busy due to some work. It would fun seeing them waiting while I would never appear.
