Eric turned out to be right about keeping Victor outside the chamber because Queen Norma appeared outside of it without any notice.
"What are you doing here?" She frowned at Victor who took her hand and kissed the back of it gently.
"Your Majesty, I wanted to see His Highness but he is busy with a very important meeting with the officials so I found it better to wait outside." He tried to make up an excuse at the spot because he hadn't expected the Queen's arrival at all.
"At this hour of night?" Queen Norma raised an eyebrow at the boy who surely will not give away any details to her. But, there was something dark in the milk.
