She had finally gotten a chance to run away but…but there was something that snaked around her like an inescapable cage, holding her back from leaving him behind.

She looked over her shoulder and saw him slowly sinking towards the lethal creatures. He looked too innocent with his eyes closed and indefensible stance, completely different from how she had seen him until now. He was merely a few hands away from her and death.
Should she give him her hand or let death take him?
What was more important? Her freedom or his life?
It was one of the toughest choices she had to pick from. Life was strange and very unpredictable. A few days ago, she couldn't think of this scenario even in her wildest dreams. A harmless little Siren who haven't seen the world any more than her Island or some limited area of the Blue Ocean.
