But when I saw who was sitting next to me, my lips parted and I was startled. Seeing my reaction he immediately withdrew his hand.
"I'm sorry if I woke you up..." he apologized.
I got up and leaned on the backrest of the bed then simply arranged my hair. I glanced at my wristwatch and realized that I had been asleep for hours.
"I've brought those you said. It's already quarter to twelve. Do you have anything in mind for lunch? I'll send our lunch here. "
"Uh, anything as long as vegetables. Pineapple juice too..."
He nodded and then stood up. He called on the phone and talked to someone there. Just a few minutes later a bellboy arrived and delivered our food. Afterwards, we're already settled on a small, circular table. I was just eating silently while he's glancing at me every other second.
Later on, he cleared his throat and spoke. "I'm done taking care of what I have to do. So I will accompany you in what you do."
My eyes narrowed.
