In the days that followed that was my preoccupation. Like Dad said, he was the one who walked the permits so I had no problem there. I am working on my menu, pricing and start up capital. I am just in the house for four days because of it.
"And what happened?" Timmy asked after I told him what happened on Cheska's birthday.
"No, e. He ignored me. He already has a... girlfriend." My voice weakened at the last word. I haven't trained yet and I don't know when I will train.
"What?!"
I pulled the cellphone away from my ear with the force of his shout.
"Don't shout like that, Timmy! Are you going to break my eardrums?"
"Girlfriend, are you?"
I sigh. "Y-Yes." My chest hurts again. "And you know what's ironic? I was against your girl in the cooking contest I participated in before. Her cousin is the girl I hate the most."
"Wait, do you mean he's a chef too?"
"Unluckily, yes."
