"You... made me so happy, Elena." His grip on my shoulders tightened more. I smiled even though I was almost out of breath because of the tightness of his hug.
"So we're official," he said hoarsely as if he couldn't believe it.
"Uh-huh."
"No secret dates anymore."
"Hm, yup."
"No entertaining of suitors."
I let go of the hug and he looked at me. My eyes narrowed a bit. "You shouldn't be a woman either. It should be fair."
"Of course, Elena."
From my waist, his right hand went down to reach mine. He caressed my palm and intertwined our fingers. I smiled even more. The emotions I am feeling felt so surreal. That seems like everything is new. It feels soothing.
Until they got home the smile never left my lips. I even had a hard time sleeping because of what happened. Rage texted me when he already got home. We exchanged messages for several minutes before he told me that I should already sleep.
