It's been a week since that dramatic morning.
I avoided lord Elliot like a plaque meanwhile Eric has been looking for the opportunity to make out I thank the god's lady Lizzy is always on his tail.
I felt stupid because I knew by now I had feelings for lord Elliot as well as Eric.
Today is Sunday my off day aunt Becky called to say she's on a trip so I stayed back at the mansion I didn't want to but I had no choice
Lord Elliot truly left since afternoon Eric and lady Lizzy had lunch and dinner alone I wonder where lord Elliot always goes. I mean aunt Becky has always taught me the importance of family so I don't understand why the three siblings seem so distant
It's evening and I decided to take a stroll in the garden. Looking at all the flowers under the moon makes it more beautiful.
Other than looking beautiful the lavender and the roses smelt like heaven.
I was startled by a giggle
Behind a bunch of a rose plant were Guzma and Marinette
"What are you guys doing" I asked running to them?
"Haha....tag you're it..".
Guzma tagged me and ran away so did Marinette I chased after them that was the fun in the game
I am coming for you Marinette..." I shouted to Marinette I just realized I was having so much fun...
As I ran I pumped on something hard and I staggered back but before I fell I felt two strong hands hold me steady.
I looked to see two ocean blue eyes staring back at me intensely. his touch on my bear arm caused a spark in my skin and I immediately withdrew my arm.
Abololiges my lord Guzma, Marinette, and I said as we lowered our heads.
"Hm..." was all he said but I could feel his scrutinizing stare on me.
"Leave both of you..", he commande.
Guzma and Marinette left quickly I guess not only I was scared to death by this man's presence I mean I just almost knocked him down I hope whatever he's going to say I will be able to still keep my job cause that's all that matters.
"I feel like you are avoiding me, Mae". He started with his deep masculine voice that makes me shake uncontrollably.
"Why would I do that my lord?.". I asked even when I knew why.
"Are you frightened by me...?"
He waited for an answer and when I didn't say anything he sighed.
"But you and my brother seem very close and you don't seem scared of him."
"I and lord Eric already knew each other before I came here, my lord. "I wondered why he sounded so jealous.
"Did you sleep with him..."
I looked him straight in the eye, yes I was scared but he had no right to talk about my private life.
"I can't answer that my lord..".I simply said I was no longer as frightened as before
"So it's true you're his mistress, I wonder what Zarah would make of this".
He didn't say anything afterward and just stood there staring and staring at me like he was dissecting me with his eyes.
I looked at my shoes cause I couldn't keep up with his stare.
But I wonder who was Zarah and what she had to do with Eric.
