Previously on deadI knocked thrice, no response, I walked in to Zoe's back at me, she was looking out the window, the light breeze ravaged through her beautiful brown hair, "Zoe?" I called out to her.
"Why does the universe hate us?" She asked
The question hit me hard
"Zee, I doubt it hates us" I said as I picked up a comb from her side table and begun combing her hair
"It fucking does!" I'm never going to get married or have kids of my own" she said as tears streamed down her cheeks
"Who's gonna marry a girl without an arm!?" She said with hurt evident in her voice
"A fat bunch of people zee, you're beautiful" I said and hugged her tightly
"I wanna show you something" I said
"What?" She replied as she wiped her tears
"It's a surprise" I said
I put her hair in a ponytail, did her edges and helped her dress up" I put on a pair of jeans and wheeled her to my car.
Mara's pov
I got dressed, went to the kitchen to microwave some leftover pizza.
Terry came few minutes after and switched on the television, he tuned in to WWE
I soon joined when I realized Becky Lynch and bianca we're gonna wrestle against each other, with each thump, me and Terry gave out that ouuu kinda sound. The pastas ready let's eat at the table" I said
"Oh sure" he responded
I glanced at the big grandpa pa clock, it was already midnight.
"It seems like I'm spending the night here" he said as he stuffed his mouth with meatball.
"Yea I guess" I responded
Halfway into the meal Terry looked at me blankly
"Mara" he called my name while looking tactfully at me"yeah? I responded without taking my eyes off my phone
"What are we??" He asked with a serious look on his face
"What are we?" I chuckled "fornicators of course" I laughed
"I'm serious marabelle" he said with a serious look on his face
This was the first time someone had called me by my full name ever since Dad died
"I don't know what we are Terry, hookup buddies?" I said, I watched the lines on his forehead crease intensely, he slammed his fists violently on the table, grabbed me by the chin and yelled
"What is wrong with you mara??!!"
He paced to and fro, ran his fingers through his hair
"Mara, I fucking love you, for how long? I've been in love with you for over four years now, I haven't moved on, I can't move on, and it hurts me to see you flirt with other guys, I'll do anything for you Mara" he screamed
