Chapter 7
"Hey what are you doing!?" Jake said in self defense
"Shut up!" I snapped
"Where we're you at the time of mara's murder?".
He looked as though he was taken aback for a moment.
"Um, I was home around that time, everyone was" he said
I brought out my phone and showed him the screenshots I took of him.
"Yo I went to use the freaking bathroom" he said getting a bit pissed.
"Did you leave with the rest?" I asked
"Yea I did" he said
"You can ask Cole
I personally drove him car home!" He added.
With this my suspicions of him had reduced by 80 percent.
I left him in the janitors closet and went to our class room which was empty by now.
I took a deep frustrated sigh
"Why is this case so f**king confusing"
I layed my head on the table and begun to cry.
After like an hour, I left the school and drove home.
The next day in school, our science teacher had paired us up for a project.
I was paired up with Maddie and Cole of all people!!
The boy I love and the girl I hate, for real?
So Maddie had walked up to me after the class along side Cole.
"We're gonna meet at Cole's house, be there!" She said and walked away.
"I'm sorry about her" Cole apologized, to which I nodded
I just hope this stupid project is over as soon as possible.
I don't know how long I'm going to tolerate this girl before I rip her false lashes out.
Last summer was the time every girl in school was hitting the gym to "glow up" which happened, 50 percentage of the girls had either bulked or cut, thick or slim etc
But Maddie looked extra, her butt was like 10 inches bigger, which was really hard to build in 2 months, it was obvious that she went under the knife, but nobody confronted her about it because she was the kind of girl that brought herself down to savage you.
I remember once, the school's smartest girl Jenny told her
"My IQ is wayyy higher than your 0 IQ level"
"Bitch 0×1 is still zero!" Everyone did that ohhhhh things and Troy, the class clown just had to put on the violation song.
Which made everything really funny.
Maddie had a habit of picking on me and mara, but mara being the savage that she was wouldn't take shit from anybody.
She and Maddie had been in detention together after mara had knocked Maddie's tooth out because she spoke I'll about her late dad.
So I had to meet Maddie and Cole tomorrow which was Saturday, I got home from school, mom and Zoe we're making brownies in the kitchen, we exchanged pleasantries.
I went to my room to freshen up, I had made up my mind to check the camera today.
I took the camera from my laundry basket and powered it to life.
She had a whole lot of YouTube video I had seen before, I saw two videos I didn't recognize and played it.
It was a video of mara sitting in the park alone it was night around 21:00pm.
She said
"It's world Keira and mara's day" on this day I found Keira and we became best of friends, I admire you Keira and I love you, thank you for being there"
She said and the video ended.
I could feel my eyes getting wet "mara was the best, I really miss her" I whimpered
I brought my self to watch the video one more time, as I did I sighted something moving in the bushes behind her, or was it a person, I exported the video to my laptop and played it, I paused and zoomed in
"It was Terry!!!!"
