Selene
My eyes fluttered open, a rush of emotions and memories passing through me as I realized that I was in my bed. Anger consumed me in a second, and I got up, pain shooting through my body again, but that wasn't in my attention. I wanted to yell at Grace and Zion, and I had to find Azriel. Because, yes, I was fucking desperate.
"Why the fuck did you guys leave him there alone!?" I howled at them as soon as I got to the huge living room.
"Selene-" Grace's voice was gentle, but I cut her off, my anger still burning fiercely. "No! He's not safe there! You know that!" Tears pricked at my eyes, my emotions raw and unfiltered. "I am going, and I will get him back here!" I turned around, rushing toward the door, and then the main gate, ignoring their pleas to stop, that I was bleeding again.
