Chapter 23 - Chapter 23: Villian of the piece

I was lost in thought that I fall to notice the figure behind me until he flicked on my face stopping mid-air.

I quickly snap out of my thoughts turning towards him as he takes his seat. I placed the small bag I was holding which contain the item I bought during my shopping with Becky, she advised me to get him a pair of white shirts to replace the one I ruin and also replace the mug that broke.

"Hoseok...I began clearing my throat "I am sorry for ruining your immaculate shirt and breaking your coffee mug...and here is a replacement"... I said handing the items.

He looked at me as though I had slapped him, he was speechless for a while and I watched as the look of shock on his face gave way to a smile.

"Then what will happen to my laptop screen"..... It was my turn to get shocked, suddenly the image of how everything that happened replayed in my head, I remember taking the book, I remember dragging the socket with my foot, and the shattering sound.

I was unable to notice that the laptop screen fell in between the table and the chair.

After what felt like a forever-dead silence, Hoseok finally speak.

"And besides my shirt is a Louis Vuitton customized shirt..and the coffee mug is a school trademark"..he said trapping his lower lips between his perfect teeth.

I was shocked and gaped out as his voice echoed in my ear, my brain stuttered for a moment, and every part of me paused the moment he said those words.

Not only did I break his screen, but also his wears are Louis Vuitton. That's tons of million in KRW, where will I get such an amount of money?

I looked at him curiously as he pushes his hair back up, my eyes flickers through his screen and my brain freezes as I think of the price of the damage. I dumbly sit with my mouth flapping open and closed as I scramble for what to say.

"I am sorry...I paused, biting my lips together and swallowing my nerves.

He considers my words for a moment looking rather surprised before he burst into laughter.

I turn my back averting his gaze, if there is anything that I wish for, I'd to escape this place as fast as I could.

Not only did he make me understand that I can't afford his wear which is 100% true, but he also....

"It's fine Bella"...Hoseok whispered to my hearing with a bright bubbly laugh.

My face flushed red, I have never been this embarrassed in my entire life.

I wanted to pay back all damages I caused just to maintain my bossy and sassy lifestyle of having no reasons to fear anyone or to do what I want knowing I own nobody anything, not even a cent but it seems my game is been used against me.

I clenched my fist, bit my teeth, and began to fidget with the bag on the table.

His expression was blank and he seems to be analyzing whatever that was displayed on the blurred screen in his front.

He doesn't say a word and I can count the seconds ticking by watching his perfect jawline, I wanted to pay back by all means so I decided to try another route.

I want to pay back the ruins just tell me how much it cost...

Hoseok eyes wide in surprise for a second before he chortles bashfully.

I was already feeling hurt and embarrassed but yet he keep adding more to it.

I looked down, a small frown furrowing my brows and pulling them together.

"Tell me Bella...why do you insist on paying me back?"...he asked clasping his hand with his eyebrows which slowly pulled together into an expression I can't interpret.

I sniff a soft smile, feeling my bold spirit enveloping me.

"Because I don't want to own anyone anything!". I said vaguely a proud smile pulling at my lips.

"Sounds like what the villain of the piece will say"..Hoseok said with a frustrated exhalation then followed by his chortles which send intensive sunburnt to my heart.

The look in his eyes only serves to intensify the pain in my face.

I huff impatiently clenching my fists and biting my lips, his statement humiliates my personality. I just sit with all my gaze on him, I bet he has no idea how painful his words hurt my heart.

"Hoseok...I began calmly trapping my lower lips, "I will pay back for the damages...and I don't want to owe you Hoseok anything".....I said trying hard to maintain a stoic expression, I can feel my adrenaline beginning to spread through my veins as he stares stock-straight at me and I wonder if he is going to throw me off the bus again.

"Do you still want to pay back? He asked and I nodded immediately without a blink.

He snaps his fingers squeezing his eyes shut and desperately clenching his fist.

"Can I get a cup of coffee".... came his voice which seems to brighten and a burst of bubbly laughter erupt sending uncomfortable feelings down my belly, picking up the mug on the table I head towards the coffee stand.

Hoseok watched with exquisite satisfaction as Bella left his side, it was as if things are working according to his plan.

He leaned his head back with a heavy sigh, he remember telling his brothers about finding the "Alien Angel" but the question is do the Alien Angel love him as much as he do?

He scratched his head as the thought pop up in his mind, he wanted to draw her closer to himself and he is putting up every possible means to see it work, running his hand over his head he smile.

Standing on the coffee machine, I throw my gaze on Jimin, watching as s he inspects the students while they do their dance.

Jimin is a perfect definition of a half- ling that's to say 'half-human and half-angel. With his glorious biceps, not to talk of his enchanting angelic voice that sends the soul to heaven and brings them back slowly calming their soul as he speaks, he has this eye smile that can sweep one off their feet.

He is full of composure, elegance, modesty, and righteousness.

I heave a sigh calling out to him the same way Hoseok did

"Jiminah!!! Want some coffee? he responds by giving me the freaking pout as if he is posing for a photograph. I giggle, quickly pouring the coffee into three different mugs, and I proceed to serve them their coffee.

I serve Hoseok his coffee without a care about his facial appearance. One thing I don't understand about him is his ability to change his mood anytime. He's pouting, his perfect lips jutting out sulkily and his eyes narrowed in a scowl that would look threatening if it weren't for the smiles sitting happily on his cheek.

I put the coffee down, taking the seat beside me as I picked up the plain sheet with a Hangul charter in it.

"So how should I pay you back? I asked nibbling on my mug.
