The door closed shut with a loud thud. Little drops of water landed on the soft rug on the floor. He sighed as he took of his wet coat and went up stairs towards the bathroom.
"Haaa..."
Asher Smith, the writer was going out for to buy some groceries when suddenly it started raining. He is a 27 year old man who wrote novels and had inspired many movies ever since he was 20 years old, which is when he started his writing career.
The door to the bathroom opened revealing Asher in a white plain T-shirt and grey shorts along with a wet towel laying on top of his head.
Ding!
A noise came out of his laptop, indicating a notification has been received. He quickly sat on his chair and checked his laptop.
>Thank you for the chapter!!
It was a comment from a reader. He smiled softly before responding to them.
>I'm very glad you enjoyed the chapter! Please look forward to the next one!
Asher have been writing for years and was passionate about his career. He loved writing, especially seeing that the people who read his books seems to enjoy them too. His younger sister and younger brother had recommended him to write his own story and read it to them as bedtime stories. Since then, he would make fanfictions and short stories online for others to read too.
He leaned back on his chair groaning as he was feeling tired. He had a busy schedule last week and he had just got back from visiting his parents who lived in Indonesia a few days ago. He just wanted to rest for a few days before starting the next chapter.
Hero's Birth
That is the webnovel that he had been making these past few months. As it's title suggested, the main character in the novel will move through the plot and ended up as a hero that everyone will remember. Currently, the story is still half way through as the main character faces another villain.
The novel reached up to 106k readers in the last few months and got a few fanarts in the process.
Asher went towards his bed and flop on to the mattress as he was feeling drowsy. It was warm and it was raining outside. He loved to sleep in such weather while listening to the sound of the rain calming his mind.
Soon his eyelids closed and he was off to dreamland.

Asher opened his eyes to an unfamiliar bedroom. The soft mattress felt different and he felt his eyes adjust to the bright light before looking around the bedroom.
"What the hell..."
