Chapter 1 - Chapter 0: Prologue

"Insolent bastards..." said Daizen, as he gazed out of his room's window, looking at the royal youth training grounds, where kids about his age, from all kingdoms were being trained and treated with respect. "Why does the world work like that? Why are people treated based on their stats and classes?" he said with frustration. "If only I were to be born with a strong class and good stats... I'd treat everyone under me kindly despite their class, unlike these arrogant--"

"Ah! So you're whining about how the world works again~?" the door of his room opened as Malenia entered. "Yes! and I'm right!" he said with confidence. "Yeah right..." she giggled. "Keep laughing all you want, not like I can do anything about this corrupted world anyways..." he said sadly.

"It doesn't matter, we're just insignificant beings who've been given a chance to enjoy this exclusive one time ride called life!" she said with a cheery smile. Daizen calmed down after chatting with her for a while. "C'mon now! It's time for lunch" said Malenia as she walked out of the room.

Malenia was an elf that had taken in Daizen, and took him to the royal capital when he was around 3. She was a powerful and well known witch amongst the 4 kingdoms. However, this didn't mean that Daizen didn't face any hardships.

Once, Daizen was peacefully doing groceries at the '4 race trade market' when suddenly- "Oho! If it isn't Daizen himself~" said Grug, a goblin, who was a student of the royal youth academy. "Shit! Why did he have to appear now?" Daizen muttered. "Oho? I can't hear you? Say that louder wil'ya?" Grug said, with a mischievous smile. "Yo grug! I was saying it's been a long time since we saw each other!" said Daizen, in a loud voice, grabbing the attention of all the people around him. "This cunning human bastard... he made everyone hear him so that if I do anything, the blame comes on me..." he thought to himself, aggravated. "Well then, I have some errands to run now, see'ya later Grug!" said Daizen, with a smile on his face, as he walked away hurriedly.

Daizen sighed in relief after getting out of the market safely with the groceries.

Just when he thought he was safe, a bunch of kids appeared infront of and behind him.

"Are you shitting me? Grug why don't you get a life you piece of shit!" Daizen exclaimed, mockingly. "What the f**k did you just say? You wanna die?" said Grug, getting annoyed. "Sure, try kill me and we'll see if Malenia spares you and your ugly goblinass goons!" said Daizen, unafraid of the consequences, "If im gonna get beat up anyways, why not get beat up with swag?" Daizen thought to himself.

Grug stood there, filled with anger, "Why is this bastard so insolent! He doesn't even posses any useful class or stats, yet he manages to go against the likes of me, head to head... It's all because of that elvian b*tch, it HAS to be because of that Malenia!" he thought. "Oho!? What're you guys waiting for? Beat him up!" Grug said to the goblins, as he walked away.

As he was getting beaten, 2 kids with the royal youth academy uniforms suddenly jumped in to save him. "Why do you always have to get yourself in trouble?" said one of them as the other one beat all the goblins that had ganged up on Daizen, by using fire. "O-Oh so y-you'we fi-finawwy hewe..." said Daizen, not being able to talk properly. "Yes we're here, saving your stupidass once again..." sighed a red haired fairy-boy, around the same age as Daizen. "Hey, you're injured badly, lay down and let me treat your wounds!" said the other person who was also about the same age as Daizen, a blue haired fairy-girl.

"Ayo Ray, learn something from Akira and stop talking shit when someone's already injured... and thanks for treating my wounds Akira!" said Daizen, in a teasing tone. To which Ray said, "Be grateful that I saved your ass, Akira alone couldn't have done anything since her magic can only heal...". "Stop it Ray. He's already in a bad condition..." said Akira. "No, it's okay Akira, let him speak his mind! After all, I am a burden to you guys..." said Daizen, in a sarcastic tone, clearly acting. "No it's okay Daizen! We're friends and friends are supposed to help each other!" said Akira, in a concerned tone. "Pffft! Did you really believe what he said Akira? You're so gullible. He's obviously pretending to be innocent." said Ray, glaring at Daizen.

"haha, you don't have to be so serious Ray, get a life!" said Daizen, continuing to tease him. "I have a life, and at least I don't get picked on 24/7 by a goblin!" Ray said, trying to make a comeback. "Well that's iust because both of you belong to noble families and aren't allowed to fight each other." said Daizen, taunting Ray. They talked and hung out for a while then returned to their houses.

Ray and Akira were from the Fairy kingdom and studied at the most prestigious academy in the 4 kingdoms, the 'Royal Youth Academy' and so did Grug. Ray was a combatant mage with the class {Flameful Mage} which meant he used fire magic to fight and Akira was a healer with the class {Healer Priestess}. Both of them belonged to noble families and had bright futures.

Daizen wasn't jealous of anyone but, he had a burning desire to become strong, he didn't want to be looked down upon, he wanted to earn a name for himself and considering the rumors about the revival of the demon clan that were spreading recently, he wished for a strong class more than ever. So, he started researching...
