Isaac after saying these words looked at Aleesia. Becoming the lord of this city would mean, that Isaac would eventually fight her father.
"What?" Aleesia asked seeing both Zeno and Isaac looking at her. Waiting to see what response she would have on hearing Isaac's words.
"I stop caring about that man a long time ago. When he pushed away my mother, I also stopped thinking of him as my father."
After a pause, she continued.
"I just have one request. That is I want to kill him with my own hands if that is okay with you."
Itsuki nodded his head while trying to see if she was actually saying the truth or if she was just hiding her true feelings. Although Isaac knew that Aleesia hated her father, there was still a small bit of possibility where might hesitate and decide to backstab Isaac. After all, blood was thicker than water.

Eastern part of the slum,
A man was sitting on a throne that was made up of bones. Sitting on the throne, the man narrowed his eyes and coldly looked at the group of 7 humans in front of him.
There was a group of high-level zombies surrounding the humans. Unlike level 1 zombies, these high-level zombies looked more like humans and were holding different types of weapons in their hands. These zombies were subordinate to the man sitting on the throne.
"So, you 7 insects have been killing my underlings for the past 2 days now." Looking at these 7 humans who were brutally beaten and injured by his subordinates, the man decided something.
"How about this, since all of you are powerful evolvers, I will give you all a chance to serve me and redeem yourselves." Among the group, there was 2 individual who managed to reach Peak 25 in just 2 days of hunting.
The eastern guardian appreciated talent. Now that he has started his own faction, he needed talented individuals in his faction.
"Piss off"
"Even if we die, we will never serve someone despicable like you."
"Shame on you."
"You don't deserve the title of Guardian."
Itham Cralee was the man who was also known as the Eastern guardian. The reason for using was because he is no longer the holder of the Guardian title.
The moment the apocalypse started, Itham also abandoned his previous identity with his rebirth. Itham was by nature an ambitious man. One of the reasons he came to serve the lord of this city was so that he can get more privileges.
Itham was always jealous of the nobles, and royal families and most importantly jealous of King Liam. Itham also wanted to rule. The desire to rule over the weak was always one of his major goals.
With the arrival of the apocalypse, Itham finally got the chance that he was been waiting for. Itham embraced his new identity by turning himself into a zombie.
.
In just two days, Itham has managed to build a powerful faction. His faction members were working day and night to recruit more and more zombies in their ranks. While recruiting zombies, Itham also kept killing normal humans who were nothing but useless pests.
From the beginning, Itham was frustrated with being the guardian. He did not understand why he would have to protect some useless, worthless slaves of the slum in the first place. So when it came to ordinary humans, he did not hesitate to kill them. He even went as far as to order his faction to kill any human that they encounter.
.
The only reason Itham has asked these 7 humans who have been killing his faction members for 2 days now was because they were very talented and strong. There is no doubt that these 7 humans would grow up to become powerful existence as long as they are nurtured in a favorable environment.
But since these humans have decided to reject his offer, there was nothing Itham can do about it.
Hearing the insulting words of the 7 humans who were kneeling in front of his throne, Itham neither showed an angry reaction nor showed any other kinds of expression.
"How dare you?"
"Lord Itham, you shouldn't have shown any mercy to these humans."
Behind Itham, there were two 6 feet giant figures standing with battle axes. These two men were Itham's generals and his most trusted subordinate.
"I should just kill them." Ruven, one of the generals of Itham raised his battle-ax intending to kill the humans kneeling before them.
"Now, calm down Ruven. There was is no need for you to get your hands dirty."
Itham looked at the 7 humans with an amused smile. "Since the 7 of them have rejected my offer, you people have become useless. The only way, now we can use you 7 would be by letting some of our low-ranking members kill you and let them level up."
Itham looked at his general with a cold gaze that frightened the 7 humans kneeling before. At this moment the calm and gentle look on Itham's face was nowhere to be seen. The coldness in his eyes was enough to frighten any soul below level 25.
"Take them away."
"Lord Itham, please spare us."
"We will serve you. Please just don't kill us."
"No...."
Itham smiled hearing the pleading screams of the 7 humans until each of them was slaughtered.
"Stupid humans should have accepted my offer when you had the chance. Now that the insects have been taken care of I should take care of the Western guardian. Since Jeff still hasn't returned yet, I can assume that he and the zombie army that I gave him is dead. What a waste. I should have come with him and done the job instead." Itham looked around him. There were more than 15,000 zombies in his faction. Although 95% of them are level 1 zombies, with the remaining 5% Itham had the power to conquer the entire slum area.
"Get ready, we are going to the East." Just as Itham stood up from his throne, he felt something above him.
When Itham looked up, his eyes contracted to the size of a needle. His entire body trembled as his face turned pale. What he saw was out of this world.
Up in the sky, there was a red shining object that seems to shine even brighter than the sunlight itself causing all the zombies to look up and cover their eyes. However normal level 1 zombie couldn't see anything beyond the red light.
Only the high-level zombies were able to see what was coming at them. 5 km above the sky, there was a giant red spear surrounded by red energy. The spear was about 500 meters long and 100 meters wide.
As the spear began falling towards the earth, the gravity was increasing its speed with each passing second. The tip of the spear seems to be penetrating the wind, creating a wave of wind around itself. As the spear fell from the sky, the bright red light was seen even from 20 km away.
The monster living in the forest, the powerful existences in the main part of the city, and the powerful third-order beings saw what was happening.
At this point, it was as if time had stopped. Even a third-order is also known as a Legend rank being, the same being who is considered the top existence of this world before the apocalypse being can't believe what they were witnessing.
Every powerhouse who saw this bright light that was powerful enough to even block the yellow sunlight and temporarily turn the sky red had only one similar question in their minds. Who could possibly launch this type of frightening attack from the sky?
Itham, the mighty eastern guardian, also known as the strongest guardian in the Eastfox city, the man who was a Peak second-order powerhouse, stared at the upcoming calamity with a pale face as his entire body violently shivered.
Being a Peak second-order powerhouse, it could be said that Itham has seen everything that his world has to offer. Itham has slaughtered an uncountable number of enemies in this life. His presence on the battlefield was enough to make the enemies tremble in fear. He was widely known the as Demon of the East.
But today, at this moment, the Demon of the East just couldn't believe what he had messed with.
His second-order instincts were screaming at him to flee from his place. But back in his mind, he also knew that there was no way he could escape from something like this. This attack was enough to even seriously injure a Peak third-order existence, not to mention Itham who was only a Peak second-order zombie.
"Is this how my rule is going to end?" As Itham watched the bright red light descend down, he asked this question to himself. As a man with great ambition, there was no way Itham was going to let his rule end just like this.
No, the question was can a second-order zombie survive an attack, that would only be called calamity even by a Peak third-order existence.
Does Itham really have the power to survive? Even if he manages to survive this calamity, can he protect his faction?
When facing death, a guardian is always taught to remain calm. As the bright red light closed the distance between heaven and earth, Itham began to get calm as he asked these questions to himself.
