"Oh yes. Actually, if it wasn't for him, probably many of us would be infected now. He opened the church for us where we were closed of people who are supposed to help us like the police and politicians. Daniel saved us. He inspired us to think that we need to fight and return to the Lord God."
Arvin nodded in agreement. Gard took a bottle of gin and drank it. He invited Arvin but the young man refused.
"You know, many of us believe that Father Daniel is really the appointed messenger of God. This is the time of judgment. We have to wake up.
The church bell rang. People in the church stared.
"It's mass time. Let's go." Gard said. The two went along.
Due to the loudness of the bell, the infected outside heard it. But spike barricades were prepared on the walls and the infected were stabbed here. They growl and try to reach the guards above the platform behind the walls and watch them.
"It looks like there are a lot of them now," said a guard.
