They reached the edge of the gate. They stuck to the wall that was covered by darkness. Ella peeked into the guardhouse and saw one guard inside while the other was hanging out by the gate.
"We have to disarm the two guards. Get ready." Ella whispered.
Ella approached the guard at the gate. She bent and careful not to make any noise. Harry followed her with a bag.
Harry suddenly kicked a soft drink can on the side of the road.
"Shit!" Harry almost screamed.
"Heyy!!! Where are you going!?" the guard in the guard house light them with a flashlight.
"Run!!!" Ella shouted.
The guard at the gate rained bullets on them. The two guards quickly approached them.
Harry was hit in the face with a rifle butt and he lost consciousness.
