The blacksmith known as Steelarm had a legendary relic from the ancient civilization of Lemuria. It was a silver hammer, the size of an arm. With a sphere of turquoise light protruding from the head of the hammer.
Alya watched him work.
The man melted the blade of the sword. Both broken parts merged into a pool of fire and orange liquid. Minutes passed while that liquid was heated in a cauldron that was surrounded by an alchemical circle that glowed with turquoise light.
By the time the blacksmith took out the liquid and poured it into a mold with stylized edges. Steam erupted throughout the room.
And then, Steelarm carried the mold to the center of a circle carved on the ground. They looked like alchemical symbols. A circle with lines going from one end of the circle to the other, curving and passing through the center of smaller circles.
