Everything was like a dream. Or like a nightmare. Igneous wondered if at some point he had received a blow in the head that made him hallucinate. He blinked several times, scratched his eyes, and slapped himself. Was it true? Was it really happening?
Breeze…she was there. It was a silhouette made of turquoise, diaphanous, like a ghost, but it was her. There was no doubt.
"Breeze," Igneous spoke, his voice brittle. "Is it really you?"
"Breeze…," Eider murmured, walking slowly towards the luminous figure that was the girl. The boy's broken armor vanished like dust in the wind.
'Eider… What did you do?' Whatever his brother did, he must have interfered with dark forces.
Breeze's eyes were lost. She looked around as if trying to make sense of the world around her. "Where am I?" Her voice was like an echo coming from beyond. "Where? Where?"
"Breeze!" Eider yelled. "Look at me."
