Wide eyed Alba just stared in the direction he went. 'D-did he j-just turn into a snake!!!??' she sat there starry eyed in wonder until Orion got back. When he saw her worshipping gaze he was confused "What's wrong? Did I do something? Are you scared?" Orion asked. It would be expected if she was terrified of him as no female likes snake beastman. He had been neglectful in showing Alba his beast form since she hadn't shown any fear toward him, but maybe she hadn't realized what he was before hand. 'It doesn't matter. She mine! Even if she's scared she'll get used to it eventually!' he thought
"SO COOL!!!!! Do it again please!~" Alba shouted and bounced up and down in excitement.
Shocked. Orion stared at her dumbfounded. "You...Want to see my beast form?" He asked her slowly not believing what he was hearing
"YES! YES! YES! Please? Pretty please can I?" Alba said giving her best puppy eyes
Orion stood there for a minute his heart hammering and burying with joy and affection. 'His female isn't scared of him! She's even begging to see his form!' he then hastily transformed. Alba walked up to the giant Moccasin and touched his head and excitedly started petting and rubbing her face on him. After a while her stomach growls again and she realized she hadn't eaten. She looked at Orion
"I like you.....so... You can't judge me okay....a-and not allowed to call me disgusting...o-okay?" She said worriedly.
Orion turned into his half beast form leaving his lower half as a snake to give the female something to sit on.
"Of course why would I be disgusted?" He said looking at her confused.
Then his question was answered when Alba opened her mouth showing off her sharp elongated eye teeth turning into fangs. She then bit into the prey he brought back and stared drinking it's blood. As he sat there watching this he saw that her eyes started to glow a red light and her hair turned silkier and her skin got a reddish hue to it.
"Beautiful." He muttered unaware of his own voice and stared at her with love.
Shocked Alba choked a bit and released the prey
"Wa-what did you say!?!" She said as she flushed a deep crimson.
"I said you're beautiful. What race are you? I don't know any beastmen who drink blood aside from drought times." Orion said looking at her with curiosity
"I'm not a beastman... I'm a vampire. I need blood to function properly or I'll die...or go into a deep sleep. Or lose all rational of thinking and attack anyone and drain their blood until I'm satisfied. Honestly I'm not sure myself." She looked at him and took a deep breath ' If I'm gonna be with him. Living with him I have to tell him'
"I can't go out in the sun for long either or I'll be really weak and easy to kill...lack of blood, stake to the heart, decapitation, or fire are really the only ways I can die...but since I can live indefinitely and have no set time span. We don't bear children easily. But as a plus I can turn anyone into the same being as me, but only once. Vampires mate for life so when I find someone if I turn them I can never have another...if they die after I turn them I die and vice versa....." She let out a breath after saying everything as fast as she could and hid her face in her hands.
"That's....alot to take in..." Orion said as he started processing what she said. "So let me get this straight. You drink blood to live. Feel weak in the sun. And can only turn one person. Your mate. Into the same kind as you and your lives are linked together. But you can't die from old age or sickness?"
"Not so much can't die from old age. More like we don't age at all..." She replied ..
Orion looked at her seriously "Change me." He said staring into her eyes
"But you don't like me....you just met me this would literally change your life..."
"Who said I don't like you!? I've liked you from the moment I laid eyes on you!" He said then he grabbed her waist and pulled her to his chest and kissed her.
