*BOOM!*
A cloud of ash and dust kicked up as the top half of the carriage hit the ground. The young girl watching the tragic scene before her couldn't help but freeze in place. She was forced to put her arms in front of her face when she was hit with kicked-up dirt and ash and fell back.
When the blast wave cleared, she slowly got up coughing and her pupils trembled at the pile of burnt wood where her aunt and prince once were. Tears came down her face again as she stumbled over to the pile of rubble.
Not caring for herself, she tried to rip away pieces of wood only to get many cuts and splinters yet she didn't stop.
"Auntie Eva! Prince!" She cried lowly as she dug into the dirt with her tiny, bloody hands.
She felt hopelessness consume her and her movements slowed. She was so tired after everything that happened and the lost hope only made her want to fall asleep and wake up from this terrible nightmare.
As she grabbed a piece of wood, it suddenly came loose which quickly made her eyes burn with hope. However, all the rubble around her began to move without her even touching it and she quickly became terrified again.
She began crawling backward as the rubble was lifted up slightly before a portion was thrown aside like a cannonball coming out of a cannon. The pile of rubble splintered even more as it hit a couple of trees and disappeared into the surroundings.
When Kailey looked at the pile again, she saw a dirty prince lifting up a lovely female with deformed legs like a princess. Although it was far from the happy, lovey-dovey scene in fairytales her late mother used to read her, the little girl could care less.
Alex spat out a piece of burnt wood from his mouth as he crushed the rubble under his steps. He moved to where Kailey was with her now unconscious Aunt and gently laid her down. Kailey quickly came over again and fought to tackle her and decided to just hold her arm instead.
She cried for the Nth time in the last few hours and rested her head on her aunt's shoulder.
"We need to get her somewhere safe." Alex brought the little girl back to reality before lifting up the unconscious woman gently again and moving away from the carriages.
Kailey followed obediently as she looked back one more time at the remains of her once peaceful life. They walked for a while before coming across a cluster of trees and rocks with a patch of grass in the center.
It was an ideal place to hide even if it was a small space. They all went in and Alex quickly put Eva down and used the blade of his Kusarigama that appeared out of thin air. Kailey freaked out thinking he would kill her but only ripped off her dress.
Alex ignored the hateful eyes of the little girl and the big breasts that threatened to break out of the lacy bra holding them together. He cut her dress all the way to her waist and carefully cut around the wood sticking out of her bloody wound.
He then pulled the few medical supplies he had left and began working. He grabbed a big seed and threw it into his mouth and chewed it up until it was mush. He then gazed at the woman's slightly dirty pink lips and calmed himself.
Under the shocked eyes of the young Kailey, he planted his lips on Eva's before opening her mouth with his tongue. He then began pushing the medical mush into her mouth and pushed it down her throat with his tongue.
Kailey covered her face with her hands while peeking between fingers.
'Why is he kissing Auntie Eva!' she screamed in her mind.
"S-Stop kissing Auntie Eva and help her pervert! Only lovers can kiss!" Kailey accused him with a shaky voice.
Alex ignored her as he made sure the unconscious woman swallowed all the seed before doing the same with some water and a few other concoctions. Kailey couldn't believe her eyes until she had enough and tried pulling him off of her pale aunt.
"If you want me to save her, she needs to take medicine. Since she can't do it herself I have to help. It's not like I want to kiss her." He complained and Kailey felt bad.
She looked down, feeling she was inadvertently harming her precious aunt. Alex ruffled her hair and smiled at her.
"Can you do the same thing before when the bad guys found us?"
The little girl was confused at first then remembered being behind the trees and rocks with her ears covered. She wasn't sure what he was going to do and narrowed her eyes suspiciously.
"Don't do any perverted things to Auntie Eva! Only Uncle Henry is allowed to do that! I will beat you up if you hurt her!" She accused Alex with a pointed finger.
She then turned around and covered her ears as she sat crisscross on the ground. Although he was being sus, Kailey knew he was the only one who could help her precious aunt. Alex chuckled before narrowing his eyes back to his patient.
Although he was sure Auntie Eva was a hot ass milf, it was neither the time nor place to have and act on those thoughts. He shook away dangerous thoughts of a fiery redheaded milf and pulled out his short sword he hadn't used at all this trip.
And now that sword was being used as a surgical knife...
He used the tip of the blade to carefully open up the wound slightly where he needed to before he began working fast to separate the splinters of the main part of the wood from her stomach. He looked at his patient and felt her pulse before continuing.
Having no essence was really a problem in situations like this since he couldn't constantly check her condition like a heart monitor. He could only hope she was fine after all the medicines he gave her.
The seed he gave her acted like an anesthetic from earth and also helped to keep the heart rate of a person relatively constant for a few hours. This was a good ingredient for most doctors and healers to have when refined properly. Of course, he couldn't refine it, but hoped it would still work similar.
The other things he fed her, there were things similar to medicines and had an abundance of different elements that could help the body stay stable. He was no doctor in his past life but the stuff he learned from Sharla could put nursing students to shame.
He tried to get as much of the wood separated from her before carefully lifting the burnt wood out of her. Blood gushed out and he ignored it as he chucked the foreign object away. He continued checking her condition and could feel her heartbeat slowing so he put his almost 1400 stats to the test.
With incredible speed, he moved his hands in and out of her body as a blur. He noticed her liver was pierced and had to sew that up the best he could. He finished quickly and sewed her up crudely but it was passable.
He then gave her some more medicines and put a wet towel on her forehead to help keep her cool. He sighed in relief when she was still alive. Although she was very weak, she would at least survive.
He then looked to her legs, and could only sigh. It was pretty much impossible for him to help her legs. They were so broken and messed up that she may never be able to walk again. He only cleaned them up as best he could to prevent infections but didn't try to reset her bones in any way.
His best bet was to now get her back as quickly as possible to Sharla and hopefully, she could save her legs. With her stable, he cleaned himself off and wrapped her in medicinal bandages, and covered her with one of his blankets.
He then got Kailey's attention and the little girl cried tears of joy since her prince said Auntie Eva would be okay. The young girl quickly fell asleep clinging tightly to her aunt and Alex put a blanket over her as well.
He let the two rest as he thought about the carnage from before. He couldn't help but let a little bit of his aura spike thinking about the young maid that reminded him of Alicia. Alex hoped she was doing okay.
He also glared at the sky when he laid down thinking of the bandits. It may be pretty stupid and immature of him, but he wanted to slaughter them just as they did to these people. Out of maybe a hundred or so bodies, only two were alive with one in critical condition.
His rage festered as he let the two rest. When Kailey woke up a few hours later, she rubbed her swollen eyes. She felt awful but soon found a canteen in front of her head. She looked to her prince before snatching the water away and guzzling it down.
She coughed several times even after Alex warned her to slow down. He also gave her some food and she was ready to sleep again after her meal. However, Alex wouldn't let her sleep now.
"Owie..." Kailey sniffled in pain from her hurt hands.
Alex took her hands and carefully removed her splinters while she cried in pain. Her bottom lip quivered while Alex put some of his remaining supplies on her cuts to help them heal before using his extra shirt and ripping it up to make bandages.
"Take this."
The young girl saw her prince hand her a slightly bloody sword that was almost half her height after giving her some time to relax. She paled and immediately shook her head so Alex took her injured hands and wrapped them around the handle.
She squeezed her eyes shut and screamed in pain before he helped her lift it up. She glared at her prince but his determined face prevented her from complaining about it.
"Can you lift it on your own?" He asked slowly letting go.
The girl sniffled and gritted her teeth as she struggled to lift the heavy weapon. She was able to lift it just below chest level but that was good enough.
"Now if you hear any bad men come here, stay hidden. If they find you, use this. You need to protect your Aunt now. I have somewhere to be."
Kailey was scared by his words but she pulled up her big girl pants with a pale face and nodded. Her aunt was always taking care of her when she was sick or hurt herself so it was time to return the favor.
Alex smiled and left some more food and water for her and her aunt should the latter wake up while he was gone.
"W-Will you come back?" Kailey asked hesitantly.
If her prince ran and never came back for them, they would both probably die.
"Don't worry, I'm just cleaning up." He replied vaguely.
Kailey narrowed her eyes knowingly.
"Kill those bandits hard for me!" she said swinging the sword around dangerously.
Alex stopped her and had her put the sword on the ground with a chuckle. This girl was a bit too intuitive for his liking or maybe he was just that obvious.
He nodded before leaving the little girl wrapped in a blanket next to the injured woman. Kailey kept the sword in her arms and would fight to stay awake for as long as she could.
"Mr. Prince will get revenge for you mommy, daddy." She cried a little again but a raging fire burned in her eyes after he left.
On this day, a Warrior Princess was born.
