His body seemed to freeze, before slumping to the ground with Grenald's ax still embedded in his chest.
Only then did all the adrenaline rushing through Grenald's blood come to a halt, causing him to puke much more blood than before.
After that, he slowly removed Kurt's spear from his chest, before slumping to the floor now very pale.
His body felt heavier than steel.
With slow movements, Grenald checked his wounds and grimaced while doing so as every small movement was causing him pain.
Meanwhile, the moment Cavarl cut off Kurt's head, he stood still for a few seconds before falling face flat on the ground feeling like he could die because of how exhausted he felt.
His ears were still bleeding from the after effects of Kurt's special technique.
The technique he used to conjure up the red wind blade had thoroughly drained him, to the extent that he felt like sleeping right where he laid.
