Today was our last day on our field trip. Everyone was gonna hang out and do their own thing today.
"Ok everyone, you are all aloud to do your own thing today. well be leaving at around 3pm. Your limit to leave beyond the hotel is twenty miles. Have fun everyone!" I said.
Elaine was still shocked and sad from yesterday. She wore a hoodie all day and she was still wearing it.
"She's still sour from yesterday. I'm not surprised though, I mean, I would be to." I said.
"I geuss so I actually feel bad as well." Aaron said.
Alan had been by her side all morning, Aaron and I didn't have a chance to talk to them. I walked over to Elaine and Alan.
"Elaine, are you ok? "I asked.
"I'm fine." Elaine said while pulling her hood over her face.
"Your obviously not fine. Come on, talk to me. I'm you friend, I'm here for you." I said persistently.
"I said I'm fine." She said without looking at me.
"Fine. We're leaving in a few hours so try to lighten up, we can still hang out together." I said.
Aaron walked over.
"What's taking so long?" Aaron asked.
"Nothing, let's leave them alone Aaron." I said while walking away.
Aaron grabbed my wrist.
"Oh no you don't. Your her friend, you have to comfort her." Aaron said without looking at me.
"I've tried, she said she wants to be left alone." I said, trying to pull my hand away.
Aaron pulled me over and grabbed my shirt.
"Then what kind of friend are you to leave her alone? She obviously needs comfort." Aaron said while giving me this look.
"If she wants me to leave her alone, then I will respect that."
I grabbed his wrists and squeezed them. Alan walked over to push us away.
"If you guys are gonna argue, do it inside a room or something." Alan said.
"Fine." I said. I yanked his hands off my shirt and tried to walk off. Aaron grabbed my wrist again and dragged me to an elevator and into a room.
