Chapter 16 - Even The Best of Friends Argue

"Finally done." I said as I stretched my arms. Elaine, Alan and I had spent an hour and a half on planning how we were gonna do the trip. "Since Aaron told the the headmaster that we wouldn't be able to do class for a bit, I don't think we'll get into trouble." Alan said. We planned the trip for next month so that we could get some more money doing fundraisers or something. The headmaster said that we could use the school money as well. "Why don't we just skip all of our classes?" Aaron said staring at his phone. "I don't know. If my mom found out about that I'd be in deep trouble." I said. "Mine too." Elaine said. "Come on. We should take advantage of what the headmaster said. He said that we won't be ae to make some classes, besides, we're Royals. We get privileges." Elaine looked away from us, grabbed her things and walked towards the door. "I'm going to class now." Elaine said in a gloomy tone. Aaron looked up at Elaine as she left the room. I stood up and glared at Aaron. "Why are you just sitting there? Go apologize." I said with a tone. " Why should I? Why did she even leave?" Aaron turned off his phone and looked at me. "Are you that stupid?! You said that we're Royals and that we have privileges! She's not a Royal and now she feels left out?" I yelled at Aaron. "Can we calm down please?" Alan said gently. "It's not my fault she's weak!" Aaron yelled, not listening to Alan. "How could you say that?! Do you not realize how terrible your being?!" Aaron and I were yelling at eachother not listening to Alan. "SHUT UP!!" Alan yelled louder than us. Alan punched a wall hard enough to Crack and pit a dent in it. "We're all friend here and you guys are arguing over this like children!" Alan yelled. "Can't you two just SHUT UP!" Alan had never gotten this upset. He usually keeps his cool no matter what situation. "He was insulting Elaine!" I said pointing at Aaron. "I forgot ok, sorry!" Aaron yelled with anger. "DID YOU GUYS NOT HERE ME THE FIRST TWO TIMES, I. SAID. SHUT UP!!" After Alan yelled the room was quiet. We heard the door open, a teacher and Elaine came in. "Stupid kids, there are students trying to learn, shut your pie holes andet them learn!" The teacher said sternly. She left the room and Elaine walked in. She looked over at Aaron then at me, and then she looked at Alan standing in front of a wall with is head and fist against it. He looked like he was about to cry. Elai.e walked over to Alan and hugged him from the back. Alan lifted his head and turned around d to see who was touching him. He turned around and looked at Elaine. Alan slid down the wall along with Elaine. He was crying. "Why are you crying Alan?"Elaine asked while wiping his face with a handkerchief. Alan stayed queit then he looked at me and Aaron. "Liana and I were arguing, that's why." Aaron answered. "Why?" Elaine asked. "Because Aaron said something g that bothered you." I said. Alan leaned his forehead onto Elaine. Elaine started rubbing his head. We could hear him sniffling. "Say sorry to eachother." Elaine said looking at Aaron and I. "What?! Why?!" We both said. "Because I said so and friends forgive eachother." Elaine said with a calm look. "Ugh, I'm never doing g this again but, sorry." I said. "Yea, me too." Aaron also said. Alan calmed down and we were back to ourselves. We all decided to skip school and headed up to the rooftop. We hung out u t school was done. Of course we made up an excuse to. ot get in trouble and we didn't get scolded because eqe were Royals and we covered for Elaine. Then we all went home.
