The officers followed close by, their legs barely touching the ground as they continued their conquest after us. "Come on, come on!" I shouted. Brie hissed back, "Remember, this is supposed to be the other way around!"
"How's this my fault?!" I shouted in return. But she didn't respond, as she quickly sped to the left at an intersection. The officers followed behind, and although Brie was as fast as a lion with a boy on her back, the two officers were clearly going to catch us.
They shouted harshly in French, with their guns firmly in their hands.
