"Hello!" I heard someone shout from the door, which spiked up my fear to the limit. "Shoot," Hans muttered. Silence followed for a brief moment, before Mr. Trilby greeted once again.
"Hi, how are you?" he asked. "To be honest, I feel great after a good lunch with a rich friend of mine."
Hans glanced back at me, keeping his finger pressed against his lips. "I know you're in there," Mr. Trilby said. "I heard a gun cock inside of this house, so clearly you're waiting to spray any second now."
Hans sighed and looked at me, as if he was unsure of what to do or say next.
"I can't really say I'm doing any better," Hans replied. "Yes, there you are!" Mr. Trilby said. "Yeah—I doubt so though, being that you are being surrounded by my men. Now, to make your day better, you can come out so we can even have a better lunch."
