Everyone's eyes fell on her and Yima was glad that she managed to keep a straight face and pretend as if she couldn't feel their eyes on her.
The first to step forward was Falcon. What ability could she have, Yima wondered, maybe she could talk to animals, but there were no animals around, only a fish and no sensible person would dare go too close to a rytuid tank.
Falcon raised her finger tips in the air, branches and vines grew from the ground, swirling together to form a roaring dragon. Yima lost control of her jaw as she clapped her hands until they were sore. She stood up and went to inspect the dragon whose eyes kept following her.
"Can it swallow me?" She asked
"Step closer and find out." Was Falon's response.
Yima frowned and went back to her seat.
"But why am I here? I can't do that." She asked Med.
"Let them finish and then you can ask your questions." Med groaned.
"Sorry." She mouthed.
"Hunter, you're next." Med spoke after rolling his eyes at Yima's apology.
Hunter blended in with the environment so well that it was hard to tell where he was. Yima's eyes widened and she nodded her head several times.
Whatever this place was, she didn't belong.
Hunter appeared in front of her and she jumped back, her hands ready to hit. Even after she realized that it was him, her heart was still pounding.
He extended his right hand towards her and gestured for her to hold his hand, she hesitated before slowly placing her hand in his and he raised it to his lips giving it a gentle kiss. His lips felt cold on her burning hot skin.
"Don't freak out." He whispered and pulled away from her, his lips detached from his body and remained on the back of her hand.
She squealed.
"Get it off, get it off now!" She roared.
"Hunter!" Brielle hissed, "get off her now"
Yima thrusted her arm away from her body until her joints hurt.
Med was busy doing paperwork, Hunter was blocking Brielle's attacks, Nyx rolled her eyes one too many times, Falcon and Adira were laughing at Yima's horrified expression while Zelda had her eyes shut, fake yawning.
"Don't blame me, I told her not to freak out." Hunter whispered to Brielle after his lips reconnected with his face.
Yima didn't wait to hear what Brielle would say, she was out the door in a second.
**
The invisible strings of air were having another race today and as they pushed past Yima's trembling body, she cursed loudly as dust found itself in her eyes.
She needed a moment.
"It's too windy, come back inside." Zelda yelled out to her.
"No."
She was now approaching Med's garden which was by the silver gate which she hoped was meant to keep out werewolves.
"Hunter shouldn't have done that, he only scared you just so he could feel good about his boring abilities."
Yima smiled.
"Fine." She knew from the time she left the room that she would go back on her own because she wasn't safe anywhere else. But it was nice that someone made an effort to call her back.
Thanks to Hunter, she was now prepared for the worst.
Med was glaring at everyone in the room when she walked back in.
It was quiet.
"Adira of house waves, fill this cup with water." Med gripped the cup a little too hard.
Yima smiled thankfully at Med, at least now she knew what she was about to see.
Adira closed her hazel eyes for what felt like forever, her eyes had changed to the color red when she reopened them.
With her hands stretched in front of her and her palms facing up, water formed at her fingertips, she directed the steam of water into the cup.
Only until she absorbed the water back, did Yima realize that Adira had drawn it from her own body.
She let out a gasp, amazing!, she thought.
Adira turned away like it was nothing and returned to her previous position.
"Brielle, show her why house droppers are the best." Med said and Hunter groaned rolling his eyes.
"One of the reasons why I'll have to beat you in the upcoming tournament." Falcon whispered to Brielle.
Brielle smirked, "I'd like to see you try."
Brielle walked up the center of the room where Med was holding a jar of screnies, which were the most silent and fastest creatures.
He emptied the jar on the floor and they immediately started running at amazing speeds, but that didn't stop Brielle from slowing time only for them, causing them to move in slow motion.
"Holy-" Yima started but stopped herself. It was too late though, Med already had a cocky look on his face.
It was now Zelda's turn, her eyes focused on Hunter, Falcon and Adira's badges causing her eyes to change into multiple shades of color. She turned her attention to the room and repeated what they had all done.
There was a dragon made out of vines and branches walking in slow motion with water coming out of its mouth.
Yima stood up from her seat and sat back down embarrassingly.
Zelda had a cocky smile on her face.
Nyx was next, she marched right in front of Yima and before she knew what was happening, she was staring at herself.
The room began to spin, her vision became blurry and the voices barely audible. She placed her head on the arm of the couch for support.
Before everything went black she heard Nyx say, ''definitely not an imit.''
