Chapter 2 - New World

I felt my head hurt, like really hurt. It felt like thousands of little wires were squirming and drilling into my brain with no hesitation in its brutality. I held on to my consciousness due to the instinct of my mortal body.

Doing everything in its power to live, my body felt like it had no limbs, no air, no blood and no anything.

It was as if I was just a ghost, with only my spirit left.

Yet it seems like not even my spirit had the privilege to survive as I also had my consciousness disappearing with each passing moment. Yet, I also felt like now was the most I had ever felt alive.

It was weird, when someone knows of their impending doom, they appreciate their much limited lifespan. While I mused myself for what I can only be assumed as my final memory, a screen popped into view.

[Welcome 0000 0000 005 0001, to the first History]

[Inherent Ability is found, SageBody and Pioneer]

[Sage Body: Increases Lifespan]

[Pioneer: Access to the first History]

Afterwards, I saw a bright red star appear from nowhere which seem to be traveling across the void.

Wait, I can see!?

I blinked and found my answer, it seems like my eyesight had returned. Furthermore, my limbs are also back with me, it felt so foreign yet nostalgic.

Well, back to the star. It now seemed to wriggle and bend in unrealistic ways before tearing into two. One that was yellow and one that was purple. These new stars revolved around each other with more and more speed as time went on.

Suddenly, a huge green plane came into view, seemingly made from the light from what I now call the twin stars. Somehow all of this really didn't faze me much after I saw my naked body again.

As I talked to myself, I felt a invisible hand grab a hold of me and pulled me nearer to the green plane. While this was happening I felt my body warm up and saw another screen before my eyes.

[Race:]

[Alignment:]

[Skills:]

[Gender:]

[Items:]

[Total Origin Points: 100]

[Note that Origin Points will only be able to be used now, dear Pioneer]

As if also seeing my screen, the invisible hand slowed their pull of me so that I could fill out this form.

For starters, I looked at race.

It contained information of what the screen called origin race no.1-10.

There was Primal Human, Origin Dragon, Chaos Elf,

True Titan, Demon of Law, Angel of Desire, Star Dwarf, Fledgling God, Spirit King and All Knowing #####.

Reading through the description of each one, I was able to summarize the dozens of pages of paragraphs into a couple key points even though none of it would be particularly understood yet.

Primal Humans, with a price of 10 origin points, had amazing physique and could adapt to any and all environments, their ability to reproduce is also called second to none amongst all the origin races, only a 80 to 90year incubation time along with an overall lifespan of 6000 years. However, they have some downsides. The most important and only major one being that their emotions are highly likely to go haywire when up against the Angels of Desire.

Origin Dragon, with a price of 80 origin points, have the best overall strength of any race and are the most welcomed by the origin of the world, whatever that means. They also are able pass on their memories and some of their skills to their offspring at the moment of birth and only grow stronger the older they are. In addition to their long lifespan of 50000 years. Would have made them the apex power on the green plane if not for their slow reproduction and highly specified requirements for their living environment.

Chaos Elves, with a price of 25 origin points, are pretty much humans 2.0 without the weakness against AoDs and have slightly slower reproduction speed. They also have a unique magic that uses their lifespan as fuel called Chaos Magic which lets them Dominate the Green Plane from the start of the endless era all the way until the present day.

True Titan, with a price of 50 origin points, have the best physical abilities and hold a miniature continent within their bodies. They also can live forever as long as their continent is not destroyed. With the only downsides being that they have the lowest reproduction rate of all the origin races.

Star Dwarf, priced at 25 origin points, are similar to Chaos Elves without Chaos Magic but instead are able to create and control a miniature star to use as they please, with many Star Dwarves using their respective stars as workshops for some reason.

I would pick this race if I could simply because of the high utility and decent price, however it seems like it's locked to only be accessible to the Law Alignment.

The other races were unable to be selected due to me not reaching some sort of requirement or in the case of the Fledgling Star, already out of stock.

If I remember correctly, Fledgling Star, priced at 80 origin points, are Divine Rules of the Universe that gained consciousness due to something called Faith Decomposition. Their lifespan is infinite as long as their divine kingdom remains and they carry the most racial potential out of all other origin races. The only downside being its weak power in the early stage.

It seems like theres other pioneers, and a lot of them are planning for late game...

If such is the case, shouldn't I pick an early game race and snowball?

So for now, Primal Human is the race to go.

Next up was Alignment.

For now that will have to be empty.

This is due to the way I understand alignments to work, high benefits and responsibilities. Even though the power and extra skill boost it gives you are tempting. Something about having a higher up that can see your every move frightens me.

Skills was up next and I already chose [Heart of Devotion](12 origin points), [Sage Force](25 origin points] and [Observant Learner](50 origin points).

[Heart of Devotion] lets me stop the weakness of primal humans against AoDs, [Sage Force] is kinda vague but it seems to pair nicely with my [Sage Body], increasing my lifespan even further. [Observant Learner] lets me learn from other people faster.

[Observant Learner] is also the reason I chose the cost effective Primal Human.

Out of all the skills I saw, this one is the most broken.

This is because while learning stuff slightly faster might seem pretty bad for such a hefty amount of origin points, this combined with my long lifespan would would gradually let me rise to the top. All I have to do is watch in utter secrecy as others fight for power.

If nothing is happening in the world, I can just train some prodigy and copy them once their skill is powerful enough.

Now onto the Items.

With only 5 origin points left, I used it all on [Fancy Book](2 origin points) and [Potion of Charisma x3](3 origin points).

Both shall be used to trick youngsters to train my Buddha Palm and Hyakuretsu Ken…..

After I pick all those up, the invisible hand immediately hasten its speed and threw me onto the green plane which seem to change to a mixture of colors while I was choosing my buffs.
