More cobwebs hanging and sticking to the ground or walls, or roots sticking out. Everything seemed to sparkle when the light hit, like a bunch of pretty threads.
The ground they were walking on was also almost covered in cobwebs, which made it difficult for them to enter.
"If we just miss a step, then we will die," Old Man Mo whispered, sharpening his eyes amidst the sea of webs. The cocoons of the human body provide another strange sight.
They started walking very slowly and carefully. Their eyes were alert with active hands in case they needed to use a move to save themselves.
"I could burn all these webs. But I don't know which bodies are still breathing. I don't want to get bad karma if I kill innocent humans," said Ying Hua.
A giant spider descended from above, revealing its many protruding eyes. The claws in its mouth twitched.
A spider web appeared that attacked Ying Hua and Old Man Mo. It wanted to eat them both.
Old Man Mo instantly moved the stick in his hand. "Retreat, Princess! Let me fight it!"
"I have fire in my hands, Old Man," Ying Hua replied quietly.
As the cobwebs shot up and almost entangled her, Ying Hua waved a hand. Fire flashed in front of her face, which instantly burned the web, then spread until it finally hit the spider's mouth.
It screamed, which Ying Hua then silenced with another fire attack.
At that moment, thousands of tiny spiders appeared from all over the place, which seemed to attack Ying Hua and Old Man Mo.
But luckily Ying Hua was able to study their behavior. So she said, "Stay calm! They're just shocked and want to move the nest!"
So Old Man Mo just froze, following Ying Hua's orders. His eyes closed as more spiders hit his face and started crawling all over his body, making him feel like he was being buried. Then in no time, they were back, out the already open door.
Ying Hua turned her head back, moving the wind to close the door.
"Have we succeeded in defeating their leader, Princess?" Old Man Mo asked, looking at the giant spider's ashes that had left no trace. "But as far as I know, it's not a demon."
"You're right," Ying Hua replied. "That's not their leader. So we still have to walk to find the Red Headband."
They walked again, starting to find more weathered skulls. Then they finally stopped when they saw a throne far ahead of them, made of hardened cobwebs.
There was a demon spider who was circling prey that had been wrapped in a web, then began to be slowly devoured.
The demon had the body of a giant spider, but a human-like head, a man with a bald head.
"Princess is that…." Old Man Mo fell silent as Ying Hua raised her hand.
"That's not him. He is in the other corner. Look!"
Old Man Mo widened his eyes when he saw a coquettish girl surrounding Prince Dwei's body, which was currently being entangled in the spider web but not being entangled in the slightest. Only the back of his body was attached.
The girl seemed to be stroking his face, then kissed his cheek.
"We have to get closer again," Ying Hua whispered.
After walking closer they finally stopped, hiding behind a rock that had been wrapped in cobwebs. But after Ying Hua burned it, now it could be used.
"Prince Dwei, why are you closing your eyes?" asked the girl, who kept circling Prince Dwei while tilting her head. "Open your eyes, Prince. I am Zhumei, the most beautiful spider demon." Zhumei blinked quickly, then smoothed her black hair. She wore a gray dress, with a beautifully random pattern.
"I can give you anything, including welfare. Whoever wants to harm you, I will destroy him. Even your brothers who want to seek the throne, I can eliminate them. Or your uncles, ministers who want to remove you from your position as a crown prince, then I can exterminate them all."
Ying Hua widened her eyes. 'So Red Headband has reincarnated into the crown prince. Prince Dwei? How come I've never heard of his name? Is it because I just moved into town a few weeks ago?'
Zhumei said again, "All you need to do is marry me." She exhaled her breath, purposely aiming it at Prince Dwei's ear. Then she touched all over his body, looking for tight and sexy muscles. "You are very handsome. I want you. We can make out over and over again until we can produce a thousand eggs and a thousand children."
"No!" Prince Dwei shook his head. When Zhumei touched the wrong spot, he opened his eyes and found another spider demon, which was swallowing a human body whole. Prince Dwei closed his eyes again, then burst into tears. "Don't eat me! I don't want to marry you! My father has already prepared a girl for me! I'm getting married soon."
The human-headed spider finished his meal and then descended from the top of the web in a dangling manner. Now his eight feet hit the ground, crawled, and approached Prince Dwei.
"Didn't you just reject the matchmaking, Prince?" asked the spider with the human head. "You always reject the girls you want to be betrothed to. This way you may fail to become a king in the future. So better you give up and marry my daughter! Zhuzhu is my lovely and only daughter.
And I am Zhibao, the famous spider demon king of this region. You will get a lot of support from the demons. Your army will get bigger, and you can defeat the enemies who are after you. What are you waiting for? If you refuse, then I can eat you now."
"Father!" snapped Zhumei. "This is why Prince Dwei doesn't want to accept me. Because he has seen Father's terrible form, as well as see how you eat prey. Why don't you just hide?"
"You know I still have to maintain this form until I master the move. Otherwise, I will spend a lot of energy, and fail to master it."
Zhumei just pouted.
"Don't sulk, my daughter! If you want him, then I will bless you. Get ready! I will carry out your wedding procession now."
"What?" Prince Dwei widened his eyes, then closed his eyes again. "Marriage is held by two parties who agree. I do not agree with this marriage. I will marry another girl."
"Prince! You rejected me?" Zhumei wept in her place, covering her face and sobbing. "You must not refuse me! I am your destiny! I am your soul mate! You are mine!" Now she turned to her father. "Father, just start our wedding procession now! I will not let him go."
Zhumei pulled Prince Dwei from the web that entangled him, then helped him up. As he was about to run away, she pulled the web out of her mouth and wrapped it around him under his chest. Now he could only stand without being able to go anywhere.
Zhumei smiled, and shortly posed, then asked her father to quickly start their wedding procession. "Do it now, Father! We have to speed things up so you can get grandchildren quickly!"
Prince Dwei screamed repeatedly, trying to call for help. Due to the noise, Zhumei silenced him with a cobweb. Only his voice came out without being able to form words.
Zhibao looked around his daughter and Prince Dwei, starting to form a certain pattern. He would also chant some holy incantations. But before that happened Ying Hua appeared to burn the cobwebs on Prince Dwei's body.
After that Old Man Mo ran very fast to snatch him from Zhumei. In an instant, Prince Dwei was in Ying Hua's arms.
"Stop!" Ying Hua said. "You can't marry someone who already has a lover."
Zhumei widened her eyes, especially when she saw that there was no Prince Dwei beside her. "Who are you, White Flame Hair? Prince Dwei is my lover. We love each other, and we will get married soon."
"Don't make it up!" said Old Man Mo furiously. "He is not your lover."
"Do not interfere!" Zhibao growled.
"I should be the one telling you that. Don't ever interfere! Because Prince Dwei is mine!" Ying Hua said.
"Hey, you!" Zhibao growled. "White fire demon! Don't talk nonsense. There are no marks on Prince Dwei's body. He is not yours."
"Or your daughter's," said Ying Hua. "I haven't marked him yet, but now I will." She tugged on Prince Dwei's collar, causing him to look down. After observing him closely, she leaned forward and kissed him.
