In all these few months that he was finally a free elf, this was the first time that the Sunstrider lost a fight. He lost to someone else. It was a new feeling for him as well.
He looked up and fully expected t hat Bjorn would be giggling and making fun of him, that the General of the Azda barracks would belittle him for losing to him in their sparring session.
But what the Sunstrider saw was a middle aged man who really did mean what he just said. His face had no ill will or intent behind it, it was very wholesome, for the lack of a better word.
