"We can never hope to understand your Father's intricate mind, my dear. But he has led us this far into our plans, the only thing we have left now is to trust in him to carry us till the end." The Queen said in an attempt to quell Heart's disappointed face.
"Is it true, though, mother? Is it true that even you have not seen Father's face? Not even once?" She asked the Queen.
"W-What? Who did you hear that from?" The Queen stammered on her words as she was oddly surprised by Heart's choice to ask that. "Who told you that, my dear?" Heart pointed towards Ace's back. The Queen gritted her teeth in anger.
Ace clapped his hand once to get everyone's attention. "Alright, alright, settle down!" As soon as he said so, the wild chimeras themselves stopped growling among one another. Their demeanor immediately changed as they became even more civil when they heard Ace's voice.
